Frame Presets

Postby rwittler » Mon Apr 30, 2007 3:10 am

Would love to see frame presets (output resolution) for digital video, widescreen video, HD video, et al.

Dear rwittler,

thanks for the input. Very goog idea. Could you share the parameters involved from your point of view.

Thanks,

NTSC standard definition video is 720 pixels wide by 540 pixels tall (RGB color mode) and NTSC widescreen would be 864 pixels wide by 486 pixels tall. For high definition projects HDV/HDTV 720p would be 1280 pixels wide by 720 pixels tall and HDV 1080p would be 1440 pixels wide by 1080 pixels.

Ok, thanks for that. I posted a request to our database and I am pretty positive that this will make it into a release rather soon.

Thanks,

JAN

Great. The dimensions for PAL video are somewhat different. As examples a list of Photoshop presets with the pixel dimensions can be found by going to the new document menu in Photoshop and under preset clicking on "Film & Video".
