Fixes and wishes (Epson V700)

Dear Silverfast

I have had several annoying lockups with Silverfast 8 Ai Studio and Epson V700. The lockups (silverfast) occur when I switch scan mode from reflective to transparency, from positive to negative or vice versa. In my opinion this should be investigated.

Second is a wish, I hope that we soon get menu functions to delete and overvrite saved frame settings and frame sets. By now I have only the option to save and not even to overwrite a previous setting.

Then I have a question - What does the save button on the USM panel actually do - it asks for a name that later cannot be found anywhere and when is the saved settings applied ? In my opinion these settings should be in a drop-down list with the possibility to delete, overwrite and rename a particular setting.

When I save a frame setting, it sometimes stores iSRD for example, but on other occasions it ignores to save the iSRD functions - something strange is happening.

Dear Martin,

Please make sure you have the latest SilverFast version installed.

You can delete settings by holding the alt-key while clicking on the entry in the load list.

If you save a setting (e.g. in the USM dialog) you can load it through the same icon where the saved setting will be shown in a list.

Thank you very much for the tips.
I have just obtained Silverfast 8 Studio and am not completely comfortable with it yet.

In version 6 I very often used the Alt key and now it seems to make magic in version 8 also.
