When I batch scan I love it that I can increment the file name (scan001, scan002 etc) but there appears to be a flaw with this. For each strip of negatives it works fine but when you put a new strip of negatives in the software retains the whole name of the last file including the number and uses that as the stem for the next increment. For example:
If the first batch of six negatives are named as follows:
[negscan_
with the incremental number starting at 01 then you will have files negscan_01 through to negscan_06 as expected.
When you put the next strip of six negatives in and click on the batch icon it defaults to:
negscan_06 as the filename stem
and incremental number is changed to 07 (which is correct). So now you have files named negscan_0607, negscan_0608, negscan_0609 etc.
Of course one can edit this but it would be nice if you did not have to

Re: Fix the batch automatic incremental file naming
Dear user,
This happens because the last used name is read and that includes the last number. There is an option to remove numbers from the end of the name in the batch scan dialog. In case you do not see it make sure you are using the latest update from our website.
Kind regards
Arne
