Epson Perfection 4990 Scanners

Postby RAG » Sun Dec 04, 2005 4:39 am

I was doing scan comparisons while working on a reflective image this weekend and discovered that the Epson Scan software gave me access to two levels of Digital ICE (Standard & High). It would be nice to have the same access with SilverFast AI Studio.

The version of Epson Scan 2.68a with this feature.

Dear RAG

I asked our development to have a close look on this.
Please check the SilverFast version history (> Website > News) to learn when this feature will be implemented.

Best regards

I am happy to report that version 6.4.3r9 now includes both levels of Digital Ice for the Epson 4990.

I gave it a try this evening and found that it works very nicely!

Thank you LaserSoft!
