Disabled autofocus on prescan

I'd like a new checkbox in the options page that would disable the autofocus on the prescan, but not on the final scan. This would really speed up the scanning on the SS4000

Focus "off" for prescan and "on" for scan (LS4000)

You can switch the focus for the prescan off, do you corrections and switch the focus on again for the final scan.

You guys are talking about two different scanners. Your're confusing me.

I can switch the focus off manually on the Polaroid SS4000 too, but then I'll have to remember to manually turn it on each time I do the final scan.
This is something I tend to forget. I found that I spend so much more time having to rescan a second time with the autofocus switch ON, that the time I save on the prescan just isn't worth it.

That's why I want an automatic simple checkbox to disable the focus on all prescans but not on the final scan.
