Hi Silverfast,
Have just updated to Ai Studio Version 8.5.0r7
The new frame finder is much better than before (and the Automatic Image Optimization by default is great!), however is there a chance in the future (or a way I can do it now automatically) to allow the automatic frame finder to rotate to find a slide frame, often slide frames are 1 or 2% off alignment and whilst I can manually go and rotate every slide, it would be great if AI could automatically rotate, it appears that the software will only 'frame find' the best horizontal image, see sample scan attached - on the left is the original 'frame finder', on the right is after a slight rotation CCW. Hopefully Ai will or can be able to rotate the frame finder.
One feature that would also be amazing, is to be able to output to both a TIF and JPEG image at the same time. At the moment when outputting to both, I have to use photoshop and action every batch I do. If the software could allow multiple outputs per scan that would be great!
Lastly, under 'Scan Dimensions' the default filename, is very difficult to have it stay as the name you input. Not sure why, I can input a name over and over and it continues to revert back to the old default name. If this can be adjusted/fixed that would be great!
Thanks in advance!

Re: Batch scanning wishlist
Hi Silverfast, any chance of also including a frame size for the 126 slide? When using the 'all frames' setting, it picks up about 3-4 126 sized slides and leaves the rest unselected.
Currently only way around it is to scan to 35mm and re-size, have created a frameset for this, however it reverses the numbered order of the slides, instead of scanning 1-> 12, it scans 12 -> 1
Is there a way when you have the 12 frames selected to reverse the order of the scanning?

Re: Batch scanning wishlist
Dear customer,
Did you use the free frame finding or the holder based one?
The free frame finding might give better results.
I will also forward your request to our product management.
Kind regards,
