Has any progress been made, or is there any intention, to utilise the entire film holder length for a single scan so we can scan 6 x 17 or 6 x 12 transparencies?

yes, this idea is still on our minds. However, as the SDK doesn't support this, there needs some programming to be done.

If this option will come available in some future release of SilverFast, it will definitely be mentioned in the product history.

Thanks; if you could do that it would very substantially extend the capability of the scanner which would be very favourable for us all.....
