Additional Layer Tools

It would be great if we had layer tools for the histogram and gradation tools like the one's under selective color correction.

Dear RAG

perhaps I do not understand what you would like to achieve. But I feel there might be a misunderstanding. Histogram and gradation work on the total of image data. I cannot image how layers should work.

What is it you would want to do with such a feature?
This would give me an idea of how I can start communicating your idea to our developers. Therefore I'd like to thank you in advance for a more detailed proposal :)

Best regards

Sonny,

Sorry I did not respond before now. I was thinking in terms of being able to select portions on an image for making adjustments and then being able to combine the isolated adjustments.

Say I have an image that is dark in the lower half, but to light in the upper half. I would like to select the areas and correct them independently and then re-combine the corrected layers.

It's a great feature and do be what I'm searching for. it's very helpful if we can make adjustment for different selected areas under selective color correction, but now just one selected area can be adjusted.
