acoustic signal at end of scan

A optional feature will be nice, witch plays a user defined sound file at the end of a scan.
I using a Reflecta Proscan 4000 and its normal, that multis-scans of all images on a strip works very long.

At this time I work in other applications or I'm not direct at the computer. A acoustic signal would help to detect the end of the scan. The silent sound of the scanner is not a good indicator.

although were hadn't had an option to let the user specify an acoustic signal to sound after a batch scan finished, there definitely is a bug in the 6.5.5r3 to not display and image and sound after such an action at all.

Hi,

I just installed Ai and my new reflecta proscan 7200. Batchjobs can be 'programmed' , however, after scanning the first frame there is no indication to 'forward' the filmstripholder. The second batch scan starts immediately after the finalising the first, but since the filmstripholder has not been forwarded, the second scan actually scans the same first frame.

Any tips or tricks to overcome this? This way the batchjob functionallity of Ai is useless in combination with Reflecta ProScan 7200.

This way the batchjob functionallity of Ai is useless in combination with Reflecta ProScan 7200.

Actually the batch mode was designed to work with scanners which have an internal motor that moves the slide holder to the next position after finishing the scan.
Your scanner, the Reflecta ProScan 7200 does not have this kind of mechanical device. The SilverFast module you are using is shared with other scanners which have this kind of motor.

It means you will have to work manually every single slide.
