Ability to "nudge" selections

I was scanning several reflective images, one at a time for maximum quality. Several of the images were the same size, but of course I could not place them in the exact same location on the scanner glass. Moving the selection with the mouse is not always precise and I thought it would be nice if I could activate the selection and then use arrow keys to nudge the selection.
