Multi Pro at 3200 DPI hardware resolution?

Postby nuau » Mon Jul 02, 2007 5:48 pm

I'm trying the demo version:
SilverFast: 6.5.0r6 Minolta
Scanner: Minolta AF-5000 DiMAGE Scan Multi Pro
OS: Mac OS X 10.4.9
Hardware: MacBook Pro 17 inch Intel Core Duo 2.16 GHz

The Multi Pro scans medium format at a maximum optical resolution
of 3200 DPI.

How do I get SilverFast to use 3200 DPI?

In the scan parameters General dialog I selected size 6x6. In
the Frame dialog I could not find any position of the scan
resolution slider that, with the Control key down, showed a
hardware scan resolution of 3200 DPI. I could only get 2400 DPI
and 4800 DPI. I also couldn't find a value to type directly into
the scan resolution field to give a hardware scan resolution of
3200 DPI.

Dear nuau,

please scan at 4800 dpi.
This will use thte 3200 dpi hardware resolution and interpolate it up to 4800 dpi.

Best regards
Martin
