Minolta Dimage Scan Multi

Postby pclark » Tue Jan 28, 2003 6:23 am

I recently purchased a refurbished Minolta Dimage Scan Multi with the Minolta software with ICE, ROC and GEM for use on my Mac G4 running 10.2.3.

I have been having problems with the software, and several Mac users have recommend that I use Silverfast instead of the Minolta scanning software.

I don't see any support listed for the Dimage Scan Multi on the Silverfast web page.

Will Silverfast work with the Minolta Dimage Scan Multi on a Mac running 10.2.3? Will there be a plug in for Photoshop 7?

Thanks.

SilverFast VS Minolta

SilverFast don?t support at the moment the Dimage Scan Multi Minolta scanner. BUT in future we will support this and a lot more models from Minolta. Please visit our website later and check the upgrades.
The features ROC and GEM are available since SilverFast Version 5.

any compatability issues

Postby UrbanVoyeur » Tue Nov 11, 2003 11:11 pm

I have the Scan Multi (original, not 2 or pro) and windows 2000. I recently downloaded the Minolta Demo.

Aside from one unexpected and unexplained program exit, the application appears to work just fine with the Scan Multi I, even though it is not officially supported.

Before I purchase the full version, are there any issues with the Scan Multi that I should know about? A

Any functions that don't work as well on the older scanner?

Does calibration work ok?

Thanks

J
