HI!
My question is if the whole unctionality of ICE4 is supported in Silverast AI Studio.
I only found the possibility to turn on ICE Dust and Scratch removal.
OK, ROC is similar to ACR; GEM = GANE and SHO seeml a little bit like AACO.
But are these functions implemented in Silverfast or just replaced with Silverfast's algorithms?
Can you say that Silverfast's functions work better than those of ICE4?
For example, with SHO I am able to manipulate shadows AND highlights while in AACO I deal with shadows only.

Dear pmitterboeck
ICE is supported, while ROC, GEM and SHO are not. As you pointed out already, there are equivalents to some of those features in SilverFast. We use the algorithms we developed and not implement the Kodak Eastman/ASF tools.
As generally with software, some things are a matter of taste.
However, I suggest you want to visit and experiment a bit with the histogramm and selective color correction tools which can be found on the horizontal toolbar of the main dialogue.
I am confident you shall find the SilverFast tools give you more control over the imaging optimisation done to your scans.
Best regards
