great disappointment!
I was using Silverfast with Minolte Dimage Elite 5400 quite for a while. For other reasons, I have already upgraded all Macs to MacOS X Leopard. For my disappointment, Minolta Scanners are not supported.
Are there any plans for updates? If not is there a possibility for a Windows XP Pro cross-grade for Silverfast? I don't use the Minolta scanner that often, so it would work for me scanning under paralllels with windows XP Pro.

Minolta 5400II & Leopard works for me
I'm using the Minolta 5400II with Silverfast Ai and Leopard. Seems to be working for me as well as on Tiger. I still see lots of Silverfast bugs, but I'm able to work around them.
All I did to get it working was download the latest Minolta software, Install Sliverfast. Run the launcher. watch it crash and hang a few times. Reboot. Try again and eventually it starts working. Usually it stays working as long as my mac doesn't go to sleep or I scan too many slides.

Works ok for me...
OS X 10.5.2, MacBook, AI Studio 6.4, Scan MultiPro..., Minolta driver 1.1.5
not sure why Lasersoft is not officially supporting Leopard, but personally I'm not having any issues
...famous last words :-)
