Are you a PC or MAC user? The appropriate way to remove an application is to run the un-installer.

Once you have correctly removed the applications you should be able to install the latest versions downloaded from the LaserSoft web site and then enter the serial numbers to activate them.

I think you may have corrupted Prefs, and this may be corrected by deleting the contents of the folder as indicated on the following web page.
