Soft Slidescans on 120tf: Where to select Focus-Point??

Postby Nitrofunk » Thu Jan 12, 2006 6:20 pm

Hi!

I recently contacted the Microtek-support about the soft-slide issue of the 120tf: When you scan 35mm-Slides without Slide-Frames, they'll get soft since the unmounted slide is beyond the scanners DOF-area.
The Support said that you can manually select the focussing-point in Silverfast. Is that true? Where can you select the area, on which the scanner should focus?
The Support-guy added a screenshot of the area where this can be done (although I can't find it in Silverfast...). Here's the link:

Thanks

...so manual selection of the focussing point isn't possible, right?
