Thank you for such an excellent product as SilverFast is! I've recently acquired FS3600 supplied with SF6 and really enjoyed with it!
And want to know about most efficient way of managing JobMonitor (JM). Having read all of your manuals from the begginning to the end and vice versa I still cannot find answers to a few questions:
1) Why not to include an additional check-box like "Do prescan of all selected thumbnails" when you selected them in Overview? Or it is strictly obligatory to get them manually clicking one by one in JM (JM obviously demonstrates capability to remember multiple prescans)? Why to waste so much time if film strip is 10 or more frames long?
2) Why only these "Image 1" "Image 2"... etc in Overview? Why not a slightly flexible automatic naming as it already is in batch processing? I mean something like "base file name" and "serialized part" of file name, starting with arbitrary number. I think not so many people deal with whole film strips - only with cutted, starting with, for example, frame #12.
3) If I adjust position of one frame in filmstrip with respect to prescan frame (in JM to eliminate interframe bands) - does this influences on all subsequent frames and I need to adjust them too or positions of every frame in filmstrip are all stored and untouched?
May be I misunderstand something?
Thank you in advance!
Alexander

Your first two questions are indeed currently not possible with the JobManager, but we will think about the possibility to include this functions in a future release.
Regarding the film strip offset tool: As far as I know the adjustment should be valid for all images of the film strip (it's not a JM feature, that is held for each image, but a scanner feature, which should influence all images of the strip).
