B/W levels problem

Postby Stefan » Sat Oct 19, 2002 4:25 pm

When scanning b/w (8 bit or 16 bit),any level tweaks are ignored,as soon as the picture is imported to Photoshop. The adjustments can be seen in the SF preview but NOT in Photoshop.
My cms setup:
calibration
automatic
rgb
intern:Adobe RGB
gray:Gray gamma 2.2
perceptive
embed profile:gray gamma 2.2
No problems with color,though.

I found out, that sometimes a Windows reboot solves the problem, but even then the values for the brightest and darkest point of the picture differ noticable between SF and PS7.RGB values of for example 0 0 0 in SF result in about 92% black in PS,same for white.

Problem solved with 6.01r16.Thanks a lot for the prompt reply (same day!) from Lasersoft support via mail (Clovis Engelhardt).
