Recently I have been unable to align 6 x 7cm images with the frame adjustment button. Using the Microtek Scanning software I can make adjustments, but no longer with Silverfast.
I'm using the 120tf mulitformat glass holder with updated Microtek firmware and the latest Silverfast Ai6 update. The problem began before the Ai6 update.
Your advise is appreciated....
Thanks,
Bob Horowitz

drrobertbob,
Is my understanding correct that you updated the Microtek firmware and then noticed this problem?
If this is the case you might try removing the Prefs in SilverFast, or even doing a complete un-install/re-install of SilverFast making sure to remove all of the files including the Prefs prior to the re-install.
Hope this helps!

120tf alignment problems
My scanner came with the updated Microtek firmware(1.8) , so no, I did not update the Microtek firmware.
Alignment problems occurred before updating to the latest Silverfast, and I thought that updating Silverfast might solve the problem and it hasn't.

Ongoing Artisxcan 120 tf alignment problems
I have uninstalled and re-installed Silverfast, including latest updates...I am not sure if I removed Prefs properly and whether this is the problem. Pease advise
I also have Silverfast Ai for an Epson Scanner, but don't think this is related.
My Microtek scanware does move the frame as it should, but I just cannot align my 6 X 7's with Silverfast Ai. I am getting tired of having to cut up my strips of negatives and trying to manually realign to make scans....
Thanks...

120 tf 120 alignment problems
I too, am having problems aligning frames with the glass carrier. My scanner is only a few months old and the firmware version is 1.8.
I am not sure that the problem exists with the regular 120 holder as I never use it. for now, I have to be careful to align the frame I am interested in within the boundaries indicated on the carrier.
Thanks in advance
Bob

120tf alignment problems / SRD banding
The latest "6a" version fixed the problem with the glass scanner.
However, I am still having problem with SRD creating banding/image skew. If I need to use SRD, I have to scan for HDR and use HDR.
Cheers,
Bob Rapp
