Microtek 8700 Firewire OSX

Will there be an upgrade from 5.5 (os9) to 5.5 (OSX) to work with Firewire, the only upgrade listed is for SCSI which I don't think has been available on 8700 for well over a year!. Seems odd to support an older connection. Even USB would be better than the current situation.

No, FW is only supported in the SilverFast version 6 and newer.
