Error in connection with TMA

Hi Everybody!

I use Microtek ScanMaker 9800 XL with TMA for scanning X-ray films. I have to scan 40 pcs films till tomorrow and my scanner generated an error: "Code: -704, Media (adapted equipment like ADF, TMA and film holder) not available." It seems to be a hardware problem, but I've checked all the wires and I've restarted the computer several times but it doesn't help. I made a "Scanner Test" and it seems that everything is OK with the connections. I use FireWire, and there isn't any problem with it.

Could you help me? I don't have any other ideas... :(

Dear Lilla

if the cable to the TMA is damaged, it needs to be replaced by your Microtek service point.
