DUST & scratch removal MADE EASIER

Postby Bphoto » Tue Sep 24, 2002 8:41 pm

What is this all about?
"DUSTING MADE EASIER:
LaserSoft Imaging, now incorporates SilverFast SRDT, an
advanced scratch and dust removal function, into its award-winning
SilverFast scanning and image enhancement software product line. SRDT
provides users with the capability to easily remove dust and scratches from
images either during scanning or from scanned raw data files. SRDT works
with black and white images as well as color image files."
What Silverfast does this, All? Microtek flatbed too?

Bruce,

Yes, it works with all supported Microtek scanners. In Reflective and Transparent modes, Color as well as Gray scale. Give it a try!

OK Paul! this sounds "way cool"

I know Microtek is coming out with a new 6800 flatbed scanner with Digital Ice soon. But I have two ScanMaker X6EL's.

What would you recommend I do, and if your software will do about the same thing, I'll get yours. What do you recommend and what SilverFast software would I need?

Bruce,

I would download a demo version of SilverFast Ai and take it for a "test drive". This way you are certain of what you are buying.

This is one more method LaserSoft Imaging lets you make an informed purchase!
