Digital ICE on Microtek 6800

Postby d8854 » Fri Dec 12, 2003 7:57 am

I am using SF Ai ver 6.1.0r7 with a Microtek 6800 on Windows XP with firewire. This scanner is digital ICE capable and this function works fine using the Microtek software. The Silverfast software does not have an ICE icon like the version for my Nikon film scanner does. It appears Silverfast does not support digital ICE for this scanner.

Can anybody tell me if this is so or what I am doing wrong?

Dear d8854.

Digital ICE is a licensed technology by Kodak's Austin Development Center, formerly Applied Science Fiction.
Negotiations are in progress in order to implement ICE support for this scanner.

Kind regards.
