ArtixScan 1100 support under MacOSX 10.2

has anybody made the Microtek ArtixScan 1100 work under 10.2??

10.2, Photoshop 7, Silverfast Ai6.0.1r10

on the same machine without changing any settings:

Artixscan 4000t neg scanner works.
Scanmaker 4 works.

ArtixScan 1100 doesn't work!

all connected via scsi (but not all at once!)

The 1100 is recognised by silverfast but when i hit 'preview', the scanner does nothing and very slowly a black preview image appears.

This is not a hardware problem with the scanner as i have tried another 1100 (both work fine in os9) and got the same result.

any thoughts would be appreaciated.

6 days, 6 weeks, or 6 months ?

just as a note for others the Scanmaker4 and the ArtixScan4000t both work fine under 10.2
