Film strip scanning

I am using version 5.5.2r02 for Kodak RFS 3600. After scanning a film strip with 4 images SilverFast cycles back and repeats the scan endelessly.
Any suggestions on what is happening?

Be sure, that multi sampling is switched off.

Yes, multi-sampling is OFF.
What it does is a full scan of all images in a strip (4 images) and then goes back to scan pic1 through 4 again and again. This behaviour applies to the Twain module.

I tested with Persio?s preference files. This is what I wrote to Persio:

Dear Persio.

I tested the Kodak RFS3600 with your preference files. I also have the
firmware v1.34.

These are my results:

1. I entered SF with your preference files. Batch scanning from document
feeder was selected.
2. When I hit the "Scan" button, 4 images were scanned into my host
application (Photoshop). After the 4th image a message box poped up (from
SilverFast) saying "Batch End". No additional scan was made.
3. I entered SF again. Batch scanning from document feeder was still
selected (this is normal). When I hit the "Scan" button again, the 4
images were scanned again (this is because batch scanning still was
selected).

Is this the sequence, you are using ? If yes, and if you don?t want to
make a batch scan after you scanned the first 4 images, you should
deselect "Batch scanning", when you enter SF again.

I used the PhotoShop plugin for my test. Are you using the PhotoShop
plugin or TWAIN ?

If this doesn?t solve your problem, please send me your logfile (search
for " SF_LogFile.txt").
