6.1.0r1 shows wrong version number

I just downloaded and installed 6.1.0r1(Kodak). While the SilverFast(Kodak).8ba file has a version of E-6.1.0r1, the bundle itself still says 6.0.2r39, as do all the title bars when the application starts up. This is disconcerting to say the least, and does not lend confidence in LaserSoft's quality assurance. Also, the alias at the top level of the bundle still points to the file in the MacOSClassic folder, even though it's installed in the Applications folder of a Mac OS X installation.

Dear David,

do not fear LaserSoft would not try to achieve the best quality for its products. There are some bugs in every software on the market, and especially with programs dealing with hardware. The aim is to minimize the number of bugs and especially to get rid of all the major and medium ones. We will check this right away.
