Where can I enter serial number?

After upgrading from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS 10.2 I downloaded the newest OS X driver for my scanner. Where can I enter the serial number? After starting the driver (photoshop plugin) with SF_Launcher there does no serialisation window come up, as mentioned in the quick start guide. When I click the info button, there is a registration button, but it is gray and cannot be pressed.
How can I get rid of the demo banners in my scans?

Is it possible that you try to register an demoversion ?

Its not possible to upgrade a demversion to a fullversion.

Yes, I have the demo version. This was the only thing I found on the website. Thanks for the link, I will try it this evening. But why are there different versions? It's a waste of bandwidth and money to download a driver a second time after testing the demo version. I think they are both the same?
