Update 6.4 -> 6.5.5r3(CanonSDK-SE): No scanner found

After update from original 6.4 Version to SFde-6.5.5r3(CanonSDK-SE).exe the program tells me, that it couldn't found my scanner.

The program tells me, to look for a "SF_LogFile.txt", but this file doesn't exist.

What to do now? Back to 6.4? But I wish to use the new feautures for scanning my dia-positiv-film.

Scanner: Canon 8600F
Windows XP

Canon Scan Gear works fine, no problems.
