There was no scanner found!

Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP2
Scaner is listed under Imaging Devices as "Film Scanner" and working

After installing my Christmas gift Plustek film scanner, I am trying to install SilverFast and I get the following error;

"There was no scanner found!
Check that Your scanner is properly connected to Your computer and is switched on.
If SilverFast can't find Your scanner, please refer to the logfile "SF_LogFile.txt" inside your SilverFast folder.

That log file did not help me a lot, and nobody is answering the listed telephon number.

Please help, many thanks in advance! and Happy Holidays and wonderful 2008!

Solution is:

1) De-install everything
2) go to
http://www.plustek.com/usa/support/download.asp

and download the relevant file
3) Install the driver
4) Install again SilverFast, you can also download the last version from this site.
