Standalone App won't start

I've just installed ai6 on epson 2400, PS ver 7 winxp, as a Photoshop plugin. I've read several post describing this behaviour, but the suggeted fixes don't seem to work. When running the standalone app, I get the prompt for the plugin folder. I've tried navigating to just about every folder in both the photoshop plugins, silver fast etc, and the silverfast twain folder in \windows (just in case) but no go. other suggestions? version is 6.0.1r17, Sf Appv 1.1.2

Yes, you are right: there is a problem under Windows XP even in the latest version of SF_App 1.1.4. The development team is fixing this issue.

I've had the same problem under Windows 2000 Pro. I've located the Silverfast(Nikon) plugin in the program files/adobe/photoshop/plugins/import-export/silverfast-folder and put a copy of that file in program files/lasersoft/silverfast and now the standalone sf app works.

I wasn't aware that there was a new version of SF_app but after the reply, I installed it (1.1.4) and all seems OK! So it DOES now work under windows XP - at least for me. However, the laser soft web site is geared towards showing you updates for your specific scanner - which is why i missed the fast there was a newer version of the wrapper application. Something to consider in your web site design methinks..
