Can anyone help me resolve these Errors using Silverfast 6?

Detailed Description of problem using Silverfast:
Unable to Prescan or Scan using Silverfast software.

Errors:
1. Using silverfast - error at prescan: not enough memory for prescan left !
2. Using silverfast - error at start of scanning process: cannot send command <set>

Lasersoft Silverfast software SE, SM i900 CD v6.4.2r2ac, Installed for use with Photoshop CS2

Unit powers on
Connection: USB, 15? active extension cable plus included 4? cable
Installation from Microtek CD-ROM and Silverscan bundled software
Questions:
Does installation of both Microtek Scanwizard pro and LaserSoft Silverscan conflict with each other?

SilverFast and ScanWizzard have no conflict as long as the Microtek Scanner Finder is deactivated.
Please download the latest costfree version 6.4 for your scanner and install it.
Afterwards please delete once the LaserSoft Imaging folder.
On a typical Mac OS X installation, the " LaserSoft Imaging " folder is to be found at:
/ User / (your username) / Library / Preferences / LaserSoft Imaging
If there is any problem left please use our online support:
