I can't get my Silverfast to recognise the OpticFilm 7200i under Vista on a new computer. It ran ok under XP Pro on my prior PC. I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the film scanner and the 6.6 upgrade for SIlverfast.
Error message is "No Scanner Found" and to look in the Silverfast SF_Logfile.txt file, but it doesn't seem to exist either.
Any ideas?

Re: Silverfast with Plustek OpticFilm7200i
Dear PabloP,
Are there maybe other imaging devices attached to the computer? (scanner, (web-) cam, multifunction printer, WACOM graphics tablet, etc.)
In Windows this will easily cause a conflict so you can only use a single such device at a time.
If this isn't your problem please contact us through our support system, because we probably need some personal informations to solve your problem.
kind regards

Re: Silverfast with Plustek OpticFilm7200i
Thanks for the post, I had expected this to be a generic thing that others had experienced.
- No other devices were attached, other than a mouse, which has since been removed to test that it didn't cause a conflict.
- Software was loaded in the order requested (hardware drivers first then Silverfast). In fact I have deleted all and done again several times.
- Windows Film scanner driver was tested to verify that it was the latest
- Upgrades for Silverfast and Plustek were downloaded and tried.
I have sent a note to support, but response was effectively the same as yours.
I have reverted to use on old computer until the issue is resolved, but that is frustrating.
