I have just downloaded and installed Silverfast 8 for the Reflecta Proscan 7200. I’m using Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate but the program is 32-bit anyway. The Reflecta drivers were already installed since I was using Cyberview X. Everything from Reflecta is up-to-date.
Once launched, Silverfast sits there and the "Image source" drop down list remains empty. Clicking on the Start button generates an error message :
“There was a problem starting your scanner…”
However, the scanner works perfectly when I run CyberView, so the drivers are there and there’s no connection problem. Re-installing Silverfast and re-starting the system didn’t help.
Also, the “Play Movie” button on the main screen has no effect as well as the Help (?) button. Finally, I don't see where I could enter a license number if I were to purchase one (appears to be unlikely at this time
So for the moment, this demo version does… absolutely nothing.
Any clue?
