Silverfast + 4870 + Req'd Upgrade

If anyone can advise if I did downloaded the right updated program, I would appreciate it. I went to the address listed on the flyer included with the scanner and it seems like I was automatically redirected the normal Silverfast for Epson 4870 webpage. There is a link to update Ai but no specifice one for SE on this page. I downloaded the "bundled" version of SE figuring you just downloaded one program that served as the both the update and the full version for those who wished to download and purchase online. The flyer included with the 4870 says that I would be prompted to register my software and then give them my email address so that they can send me some sort of email before you proceed. I never got this email prompt/verification, so I am wondering if I am doing things right. Just thought I would ask before I started installing things.

Well, I went ahead and tried executing the updates. The update seemed to function OK and I even now have an uninstall option in Add/ Remove programs. When Silverfast starts, the version says 6.1.0r5 just like it did before I did the update though.

For those who are interested, tech support contacted me by email. You don't need to install the software on the disk. If you have installed that software, remove it fully. Download the SE Bundle file version even though it doesn't classify it as an update on their site and download the help files. Then install both.
