SFE-6.0.2r03 (Epson-SE) - unable to install OSX G4 2GB

Just dl'd SFE-6.0.2r03 (Epson-SE) to try with my new Epson Perfection 2400 Photo Scanner, but I am unable to install it . Keep getting message not enough memory. I have 2GB!

G4 Dual 1.25 w/ 2GB RAM OSX 10.2.4

I see elsewhere on the forum that I would need to physically remove a 512MB dimm??? Hmmmm. I don't think so - nope - I really really don't wanna do that.

Any other options to get this to install? I would like to see how it works.

Sorry, no other options in this case, as this is a problem with the installer software. It is not so dramatic to remove that RAM, you can insert it after the installation again.

If you can reboot into OS9 it will install without a problem. Removing ram is ONLY required if you can't boot into os9.
