Reset button is not on my program Please HELP

The little reset button is not on my program screen at all. It is supposed to be just left of the preview button and it is just not there at all.
It is shown as # 18 on page 13 of the Silverfast booklet that came with the SE program.
If anyone has any idea why it does not show up on my screen please let me know what I need to do to get it to show.

Hello Ronnie,

Assuming you are a PC Vs Mac user, you will find holding the Alt key on your keyboard changes the Options button to Reset.

I don't know why they just don't put that someplace for a person to read. I'm really happy for this forum because customer service never did get back to me on this problem. All I got was an E-Mail to re insert silverfast. They spend to much time on worthless movies and not enough time on how to use the features in this program. I'm still trying to figure out how to batch four slids at a time into photoshop or a file. Ain't a thing in the manual I got that tells anything worthwhile.
