Registration and Quick Launch

I have Just upgraded to 6.5r3 for HDR, DC Pro, and HP Ai and Print Tao.

2 problems

The serial # appears to be the same for all when I go to the information section, and this prevents web updates as it always goes to the Ai serial #. How to fix?

I would like the launcher to be able to multi select the product to run. So I have put all the .8ba files in the same directory this is ok, but i get errors when running web update and web help from the application...

HW: Intel Dual Core -955BX
2 gig memory
Sata Drives

SW: XP Professional SP 2

Please help me fix these items.

dear kuttler,

regarding your first problem. Please delete the old serial number file and serialize with your new number:

Please make shure, that you are " the Administrator " of your PC and insert the SilverFast CD into your computer and close the CD in the case, the Autostart will pop up.

Then delete once the serilisation file.

You can delete serialisation and preferences with the SilverFast service dialogue.

Please start the SF_Launcher. When "start automatically" is activated, the SilverFast plug-in will be started, too. Please close down the SilverFast programme while leaving the SF_Launcher opened.

Please use now the combination of these 3 buttons: Shift+S+F and press and hold these 3 buttons.

Now please start Silverfast by doubble click at the icon of the SF_Launcher.

Instead of SilverFast, the "Service Dialogue" window will appear. Now you can relase the 3 buttons ( Shift+S+F )

The Service Dialogue will allow you to delete the serialisation, the preferences, or to copy the SF_Logfile to the desktop.

Please delete the serilisation file.

After closing the service dialog please serialize your SilverFast version.


second problem:
