problems installing upgrade

I downloaded the free upgrade for HDR suite.I think the "new" download is SFen-6-1.50r8. The current version is SF e-6.5.0r8. Instructions say "uninstall" the existing program before installing the upgrade. I am working on a Mac OS 10.4.10
How do in do this?

Dear Paul

Mac OS X does not yet offer uninstall routines. Simply navigate to the folder SilverFast was installed into and remove the files and folders named SilverFast and LaserSoft.
These could be located in:
/Applications/LaserSoft
/Applications/SilverFast Application
/Applications/Photoshop/Plugins/Import-Export/
/User/(your username)/Library/Preferences/LaserSoft Imaging/
