I installed the version on CD which came with the scanner.
It worked for 3 scans and then it started crashing.
I updated the latest version for MAC OS 10.10 Yosemite. Same thing.
Any other solutions?

please make sure you install the latest update from our website. The version on the disk is likely outdated.
