My Serialization Failed Too!

I purchased and downloaded SilverFast Ai for an Epson Perfection 3170 / 3170 Photo scanner with Mac OS X 10.3.7. When attempting serialization through SF Launcher or Photoshop 7 and correctly entering both name (all caps) and serial number as shown in confirmation email, I receive an error message "please correct your first and last names." I called the sales line to hear the office is closed until Jan 3rd and FAQs does not address the issue.

Any suggestions besides waiting until Jan. 3rd?

your lucky m8 when I click on the launcher it flashes up for a couple of seconds then goes away same in import in photoshop
