Multiple install hassles in Photoshop CS/Panther

My computers at work just got upgraded to Panther, and I downloaded the latest SF to install ? 6.2.1.1r9. Two problems:

They show double SF plug-ins in the Photoshop CS IMPORT box, even though I deleted the previous version of SF from both Plug-in folders and Applications.

I have two Polaroid SS 120 scanners connected to two computers (It's a photo class). One works (even with double SF import icons) and the other hangs up halfway through each scan attempt. Re-installing doesn't do anything.

Help! My kids need to use the scanners.

thanks for your posting. Please address support staff directly for supporting needs via the problem report form.

Photoshop CS needs to be closed down when you try to remove anything from its (sub)folders. Also, please make sure being administrator/root while deleting, installing and/or serializing SilverFast.

I would appreciate if you could paste a fresh copy of the SF_Logfile in the problem report.
