multiple drivers installed on Vista

Hello, I'm newbee, so be patient:-)
I just bought a
Canon Canoscan 8600F with Silverfast SE and I'm pleased.
The version shipped with the scanner isn't Vista ready, so LaserSoft was so nice to upgrade my key with the new Silverfast 6.51.

I downloaded the TWAIN-Version (I should have downloaded the other, but can't get access to it right now) and installed it onto my Vista system.

Now, when I choose a scanner within several programs, I always got 4 drivers to select for my scanner:
One I forgot (not at home), the orig. cannon driver and two Silverfast drivers:
Silverfast CANON-SE 6.41 (32 Bit) (32-32)
Silverfast CANON-SE 6.51 (...) (32-32)

The second one is the correct.
How do I get rid of the obsolete 6.41 driver, which comes with the scanner?

A remark:
Tried to send the problem through the website.

That won't work.
Used Firefox on Computer and on the PC and IE on the PC. Always got the message, that I should fill in all requested fields (which I have done), when I hit the submit button.
The submit button point always the the same page. Seems not to be obvious, how to submit a report.
