Menus unresponsive in stand-alone programme

Trying out the demo version of SE with the stand-alone programme. All menu items (Apple, Silverfast etc) at the left end of the menu bar do not respond to clicking on them. Menu bar clock and Internet Connect on the right hand end of the menu bar however respond normally.

You have a problem which could be solved by our support.
Please send us more information about your scanner - operating system - SilverFast version - or send the SilverFast log file to: support@lasersoft.com
