Leopard & Epson 836XL
I installed leopard on my G4 with SCSI card and now my Epson 836XL isn't recognized by the software... The new silverfast software doesn't list 10.5 in its compatibility list. Are there any plans to release an upgrade?

acknowledged. The connectivity trouble with the Expression 836XL under Leopard can be confirmed by LSI internal tests. It has been classified as a bug internally, although we didn't claim that combination is supported at all. Still, this shows that we definitely planning to tackle the issue.
As we yet cannot estimate how time-consuming it will be to "fix" that, however, I right now can neither say when or even if we ultimately can provide a solution for this. But if, this will come as a free update for users of version 6.5 as normally. Users of version 6.0-6.4 need to purchase an upgrade to the latest product generation.
