Hi,
I've just tried to install the demo version of Silverfast 8 for my epson v600. There was an initial problem with my computer not being able to open the 64 bit version. I then changed this so it opened the 32 bit version however it now comes up with the message
"There was a problem starting your scanner.
Please make sure your drivers are installed correctly.
Exiting now..."
I'm unsure how to make sure the drivers are installed correctly, I have been using the scanner on my computer for some time so doesn't this mean the drivers are already installed properly. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Re: Installation problem, scanner driver problem
Dear Beat,
Please make sure you have the latest EPSON Scan Utility installed.
This contains the drivers we require.
In case you are using a newer Mac you might have to select OSX 10.6 if you want to download it from the EPSON website.
Then the MAC needs to be restarted with the Scanner being attached and turned on.
OSX will update the drivers during startup.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
