Install SilverFast Umax version for Expression 836XL?

We recently purcheased SilverFast Ai 6.4 from CDW. Unfortunately their description did not detail that it was for Umax scanners only. We have an Epson Expression 836xl.

CDW's software policy does not allow for returns once opened and they apparently only sell the Umax version.

I sent an email to SilverFast 3 weeks ago and have not heard anything back.

Is there anything we can do with the software we have already purchased?
