HDR Standalone

Postby redsvt » Fri Nov 07, 2003 4:49 pm

HDR will not run as a standalone application. I have installed the PS plugin, and the standalone version. I personally do not like Photoshop and use a program called Picture Window Pro. This is why I want the standalone of HDR.

I am also unable to locate the .exe to launch HDR.

Running W2K with the right aspi layer.

Thanks

Dear redsvt.

Be sure to install the Photoshop version of SilverFast. The TWAIN plugin wont work.

Best regards
Eric.

Dear redsvt.

Please try the following:

1. Locate the stand alone application. The name depends of the version, which you have installed. New new version is called "SF Launcher.exe". Start this app and find out if there is a plugin in the selection popup. If you dont?t find the launcher, please search for the older version, its name is "SF_App.exe".

2. If the stand alone app doesn?t view any plugin, please search for the installed plugin. Its name depends on the type of plugin, it should contain the name "SilverFast" in it and has the extension ".8ba". Normally it is located in the "Import/Export" directory of PhotoShop. Then select the path of the SilverFast plugin in the selection popup of the stand alone app.

3. If step 1 and 2 doesn?t give any postive result, please contact the support at:
http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html and please tell them whether you have PhotoShop installed or not.

Best regards
Eric.
