fresh install SF crash on startup

Hallo all,

I just bought flatbed scanner canon 8800 F with an installation CD of SF.

Everythink works fine my computer recon my scanner and is in my device list.

The only thing that ain't working is SF. immeditly after startup SF crashes with the following error.

AppName: sf launcher.exe AppVer: 2.1.4.0 ModName: sf_sdk_canon.sfd
ModVer: 1.0.3.7 Offset: 00003a9a

C:\DOCUME~1\Snoepie\LOCALS~1\Temp\988a_appcompat.txt

with a whole lot of crap if you see details of error which i can't copy in this..
Tried reinstalling tried other usb nothink works..

any help is appreciated.

Dear Customers,

could you please download the latest version of the canon driver from www.Canon.com and update SilverFast to the current Version.
This should solve the issue.
