Errors in updating to 6.5.1r1

Hi

I have been using a Canon 9950F flatbed scanner which came bundled with SF. Software is now updated and upgraded to version SF - SE Plus v 6.5.0r8 (ME). Mostly I have been scanning and storing - also printing - family history fotographs. Oldest prints are about 110 yrs old. The first negatives taken myself are from 1951.
I am very satisfied with the SF I have. My experience is (only) from one year of use and about 2000 prints, negatives and slides scanned.

Now I had however a problem when trying to update to version 6.5.1r1 offered. Downloading the new version as Setup Wizard advices, there were several (5) messages "Error opening" (file). I have the names of said files written down, if needed. The new version did not load and I have the old version.

Any suggestions ? Jacko (73 years)
