error message "cannot find scanner

help! after installing sf 6 in photoshop 7 (g4 mac, 733,) i try to launch sf, and get the message "cannot find the scanner.) am using sf version 6 for nikon 8000 scanner. any idea what the problem is?

1. Be sure to use the latest update of our Nikon plugin from our WEB site, to secure compatibility with PS7 on the MAC.
2. If you are using Jaguar (MAC OS-X 10.2), you will have to wait for an update for a few days. New versions for 10.2 are coming very soon.

silverfast is sometimes very vague about where things are. where, for instance, is the plugin? under search i get a bunch of infos, but no location of the plugin.

location please.

Do you mean the location of the update on the WEB ?

Select your scanner and your platform and then download the newest plugin.
